Trulieve Cannabis Corp. (NYSE: TRLV) has been named to TIME’s America’s Best Companies 2026 list, becoming one of only two cannabis companies recognized in the annual ranking.
Compiled by TIME in partnership with Statista, the list evaluates the top 1,000 U.S. companies across three core areas: employee satisfaction, financial performance, and sustainability transparency. More than 7,200 companies met the eligibility requirements for consideration.
“Being named to TIME’s list of America’s Best Companies is a tremendous honor and a direct reflection of the durability of our business,” Trulieve CEO Kim Rivers said in a statement.
“To be one of only two cannabis companies recognized speaks to the passion and dedication of our team as we continue our mission to expand access to cannabis.”
The ranking combines approximately 217,000 employee surveys measuring workplace culture, compensation, working conditions, and employer reputation with a financial analysis of revenue growth, profitability, and asset performance. Eligible companies were required to generate at least $100 million in annual revenue. Sustainability transparency was also assessed through environmental, social, and governance (ESG) disclosures and additional research conducted by Statista.
The recognition comes as Trulieve continues to expand its presence across key U.S. medical cannabis markets, including Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The company recently completed its uplisting to the New York Stock Exchange, a move designed to broaden investor access and increase liquidity for its shares.
TIME’s annual ranking highlights companies that demonstrate strong financial performance while maintaining employee engagement and transparency around sustainability practices—areas that are becoming increasingly important to institutional investors evaluating public companies.
