Jim Belushi’s Cannabis Tour Hits New Jersey Dispensaries With New Product Launches
Jim Belushi, actor and cannabis grower, is promoting his cannabis brands in New Jersey dispensaries. Belushi introduced three brands, including Belushi’s Farm, The Blues Brothers, and Big Sur Holy Weed.
The move is part of his production deal with High Grass Farms, a locally owned brand, operating out of a 48,000-square-foot facility in Buena.
According to Heady NJ, Belushi visited ReLeaf in Williamstown, High Rollers in Atlantic City, the Frosted Nug in Penns Grove and Jersey Joint in Glassboro.
Under the Belushi’s Farm brand, he is rolling out the Pink Certz, Mule Fuel, and Apple Tart cultivars in New Jersey, and says he will also introduce vapes, concentrates, and brick hash products, according to a video he shared.
Belushi became a fierce advocate for the medical benefits of cannabis, following his brother’s death. John Belushi, star of “Animal House” and one of the original “Saturday Night Live” cast members, died of a heroin overdose in 1982.
The “According to Jim” star entered the cannabis industry as a legal cannabis farmer with a 48-plant crop in 2015.
Moreover, his southern Oregon-based Belushi Farm was featured in a three-part Discovery series “Growing Belushi.”
