Beard Bros and British Cannabis Announce International Cannabinoid Product Partnership

Beard Bros and British Cannabis have announced a commercial collaboration to develop cannabinoid products for the United Kingdom, Europe and North America, combining British Cannabis’ manufacturing infrastructure with Beard Bros’ product portfolio, industry relationships and distribution experience.

The partnership will initially focus on CBD tinctures, gummies and cannabigerol (CBG) formulations, with transdermal patches and cannabinoid vapes under consideration for future development.

British Cannabis, founded in 2015, operates manufacturing facilities in England and provides research, extraction, formulation, production and distribution services. Its portfolio includes CBD by British Cannabis, ACCESS CBD, British Cannabis Medicines and SEVEN.

Beard Bros, founded by brothers Bill and Jeff Levers, currently operates cannabis product programs in California and Massachusetts, with plans to expand into Maine and Connecticut before the end of 2026.

Manufacturing and International Distribution

Under the collaboration, British Cannabis will provide formulation expertise, manufacturing infrastructure and regulatory experience to support the development of Beard Bros-branded products for the UK and eligible European markets.

The companies will also evaluate opportunities to introduce British-manufactured cannabinoid products into North America through compliant wholesale, retail and direct-to-consumer channels.

Product formulations, labeling, testing and distribution will be adapted to the regulatory requirements of individual markets, including evolving federal hemp restrictions in the United States.

“Beard Bros has always believed that good cannabinoid products begin with a clear purpose and honest education,” said Bill Levers, co-founder and CEO of Beard Bros. “British Cannabis brings years of manufacturing and regulatory experience in the UK. This collaboration allows us to combine those strengths and create products designed for the people and markets they are intended to serve.”

Potential Expansion Into Medical Cannabis

The companies may also evaluate opportunities involving prescription cannabinoid products in the UK and Europe, drawing on British Cannabis’ existing medical cannabis operations.

However, no specific medical products or launch dates have been announced.

“BRITISH CANNABIS™ has spent more than a decade building expertise across cannabinoid research, formulation and manufacturing, with products spanning consumer wellness and prescription medicines,” said Adam Windish, CEO of British Cannabis.

“This collaboration allows us to build on that foundation, developing Beard Bros products for the UK and eligible European markets while opening new opportunities for our British-manufactured range in North America,” Windish added in a press release dated October 9th.

The companies have not disclosed financial terms, investment commitments, revenue projections, or a specific timeline for the initial product launches.
