MariMed Enters New York Cannabis Market Via Partnership with Farm 2 Hand
Massachusetts-based multistate cannabis operator MariMed on Thursday announced the company’s entry into New York’s regulated market through a licensing agreement with Farm 2 Hand. The deal brings MariMed’s top-selling edible brands, including Betty’s Eddies, Bubby’s Baked, and InHouse gummies, to the Empire State’s growing cannabis market, marking a significant step in the company’s strategy to expand its portfolio of cannabis brands nationwide.
Farm 2 Hand plans to distribute a variety of MariMed’s cannabis edibles products across New York, as permitted by state regulations. The products will be produced in a new kitchen that MariMed will design and construct for Farm 2 Hand at the company’s production facility in the Bronx.
“Entering the New York market represents a key piece of our long-term growth strategy as we continue to expand MariMed’s footprint in high-growth markets across the U.S.,” Jon Levine, chief executive officer of MariMed, says in a statement to IgniteIt. “Partnering with Farm 2 Hand gives us the opportunity to bring our trusted brands to new consumers while staying true to what we do best, providing products that deliver the quality, consistency, and innovation consumers expect from MariMed.”
MariMed expects its products to be available at more than 500 licensed dispensaries in 2026, pending construction of the production facility and regulatory approval. Terms of the deal with Farm 2 Hand were not disclosed.
“Expanding the availability of our brands to the Empire State and its $6 billion total addressable market marks a significant step forward in our plan to own top-selling cannabis brands across the U.S.,” Levine said in a press release. “The addition of New York to our distribution footprint will help drive wholesale revenue and being in the nation’s top media and influencer market will also help increase national awareness for our brands.”
