Berner x Garawi: The Power Duo Behind The Cookie-Shaped Vape Drop, Here’s Where To Find It
Cannabis brand Muha Meds has teamed up with Cookies for the release of a 2-gram disposable vape shaped like a cookie, complete with a visible “bite” showing how full it is.
Launching Friday, Oct. 10, at Muha Meds’ Detroit dispensary in Michigan, the drop will include a meet-and-greet with Berner, a.k.a. Gilbert Milam Jr., co-founder and CEO of Cookies , giveaways, and promos.
The Muha Meds x Cookies Collab 2G disposable features Muha Meds’ premium distillate and comes in five Cookies strains, including Cereal Milk, Tequila Sunrise, Gary Payton, Blue Slushie, and Habibi.
Ali Garawi, Muha Meds CEO and co-founder, said Muha Meds sets trends as it “has always taken pride in staying independent, designing every product in-house and building a brand rooted in authenticity.”
Berner added that Michigan is the ideal first market for this partnership.
The cookie-shaped vape will expand to California and other markets later this year.
“Muha Meds crushes with the extracts and I’ve been a fan of their work for a while and Michigan is the ideal market for us to launch in,” Berner said. “They are a mature market that will appreciate the heat we are bringing to the collab.”
This launch comes at a time when vapes are becoming one of the fastest-growing segments of the U.S. cannabis market.
In New York, for instance, the category already makes up 25–28% of legal cannabis sales or approximately $40 million monthly, according to Jaunty Co-Founder and CEO Nicolas Guarino.
He told IgniteIt in a recent interview that younger consumers are leaning into convenience, while trust in safe, regulated vape products is growing.
“Trust, safety, and reliability win over time,” Guarino said, adding that stronger enforcement will be critical for consumers to shift to safer legal products.
